MULTICOLOR and the art from Japan - Louis Vuitton and Murakami
A collaboration with a special artist began in 2002- here Takashi Murakami (1962) began to develop a pattern of a special kind, for Louis Vuitton. Directly in the cooperation year with the legendary artist, one saw singer Jessica Simpson with the probably most well-known design of Takashi Murakami, in the flash.
With the Monogram Multicolor one was fully in the trend and it lives up again.
In the long collaboration with this artist was also created the camouflage motif and later the famous Cosmic Blossom cherry blossom series.
Paris Hilton loved this variation and let herself be seen with it on the red carpet in 2004.
With artist Murakami having many collaborative years with Louis Vuitton, the famous MULTICOLOR pattern not only adorns Marilyn, Ursula and Rita, but also many Speedys and Portemonnaies, though it is no longer in production today.
That is why the demand for this design Multicolor today as then, very high and also stable in value.
The Japanese designer Takashi Murakami, decorated not only purses, clutches and backpacks with it, but impressed with his extraordinary art not only on the Louis Vuitton bags. He created colorful paintings to see these are in various exhibitions in Paris.
The particularly coveted Murakami Bags can be trendily combined withleather jackets but also with jean jackets. We think these bags are also very fashionable with business suits.
